Happy Holidays!

That's right... Happy Holidays! In the spirit of keeping Christmas alive all year long we decided to send our Christmas cards in March this year. Ha ha ha. Really Adam and Erin have been blessed with sooo much illustration work, a fantastic daughter, and a wonderful place to live, play, and explore, that we have been overwhelmingly busy and the cards only made it into the "to do" pile now! We hope to share all of our adventure with all of our friends through this blog- please check back often, or follow us as we have A LOT to tell everyone about! So sincere "Happy Holidays" to everyone- the next one coming up for us is ALIZALYN'S FIRST BIRTHDAY!!! on 16 March! She is so big already and we are so excited to have her in our lives.

Dinner in a movie

Adam took Erin on a great date tonight. We went to The Columbian movie theater in Astoria OR. The theater was a vaudeville stage converted into a movie theater, converted into a restaurant. We watched RED, which was really great, and part way into the movie we were served a pizza! Good pizza! The seat was really a couch with a mini table in front of it. It was awesome. We finished it off with a little Dairy Queen goodness on the way home. We love living in this part of the country, we get to see so much of the ocean all the time. There was a beautiful fiery sunset over the water as we drove 25 min to Astoria, the sky glowed the whole time. Too bad we only got a blurry pic on the cell phone.

Adventure!

When it rains in the northwest, it pours! The roads between Cannon Beach and Seaside were too flooded to get to church. It has been raining buckets for a few days, with no chances of letting up all week. Yesterday we went to Haystack Rock at low tide during the storm, the rain soaked us sideways and looked like a Saharan sandstorm blowing across the beach. We were able to go all the way out to the rock and see the tide pools. There were sideays flying seagulls, loogey jellyfish and lots of smashed up clam shells.

We're Back! (again)

Hi everyone, we are back after a billion miles of traveling. We have been to Utah, Illinois, California and everywhere in between this holiday season. Now we have settled back into life in Cannon Beach OR. And in case you want to send us a letter our new address is:

Taylors
PO Box 392
Cannon Beach OR 97110

We love life at the beach. The baby is growing fast and getting strong, and is 7 months old now! Two more months and we will get to see it! Boy or girl? Still a mystery! Our vote is on boy...but we will see soon enough.
We also have several books due to be published this year- details on them to come!

So...Enjoy some photos!

Adam Donovan?

Best recent conversation- Adam is in the studio and Erin is on the living room floor:

Adam: Uh, did you just rip one in there?
Erin: Heck yes I did
Adam: That's my wif-a
Erin: You didn't think I was a lady did you?
Adam: Pfff why do you think I married you? I said to myself, here is a girl I can rip one in front of!
Erin: I am glad that all our windows and doors are open so the neighbors can enjoy this conversation.
